yellow

I went to the flower market this morning to pick out flowers for Eskell's weekly arrangement. I couldn't help myself, these yellow Dahlia's were calling my name. I am not naturally drawn to yellow for some reason. I have wanted to do arrangements with yellow, but always end up with pinks and purples.

Also, I have decided to start my blog The Foxx Denn, back up again. Check it out for interior design hints, cool things and fun facts! 

foxglove and saipua

As some might know, I have been a huge fan of Saipua for years. In fact, Sarah's flowers were what inspired me to get into the floral design business and to this day I get goose bumps over her arrangements and can only hope to be as brilliant as she is someday. 

I read her blog religiously and today, low and behold, she had some AMAZING images of Foxglove flowers. So beautiful and elegant and magical in their own natural state. I am truly in love with her images of the foxglove flowers at Floret Farm.  On another note, Floret Farm is magical itself. I wish I lived closer so I could enjoy the blooms and visit the farm. 

Looking forward to getting a good camera so I can take pictures like these someday.

weddings

It has been a busy few weeks! I can't complain because it has been filled with flowers and more flowers. I was lucky to not only do the floral's for Nick and Sarah's wedding, but also do some of the floral's for   Michelle and Joe's wedding this past weekend. I am still waiting on the professional photo's for both weddings, but here are some sneak peeks from both weddings!
