Inspirational. I have really enjoyed making floral arrangements for other things aside from weddings/events. I love flowers when they are used in conjunction with fashion, or used as an installation or for photo shoots. Floral design isn't just about the event, its about the visual. Thierry Boutemy has that down.

Really easy, fun, exciting lighting idea for any kind of event. Found this on the designsponge today. Would be fun for strings of lights or as big light sources. Kind of has a nautical feel to them, don't ya think?

dinner party shoot
I was honored that Dinner Party asked me to provide some wedding floral bouquets for their past weekends photo shoot! I really love what they have going on and am excited to see the final pictures. These are some sneak peak images of the bouquets I made, as well as some shots of the left over flowers. Not the best quality photos, BUT my birthday was yesterday and I now am getting a brand new real camera! So excited, thanks to my mom, my man (Seth) and the tax guy!

packaging heaven
I am loving the etsy shop PrettyTape. Foxglove has been working on packaging ideas and while going through this shop, I realized how great these products would be for the DIYer. No matter if you are putting together wedding invites, decorations, guest gifts or putting together a dinner party, you can find any number of wonderful supplies here.
Use the stamps for an invite to a dinner party, or twine for wedding guest name tags. I am currently looking into the Japanese Washi Tape for Foxglove. MMM tape!

dreamy morning
I woke up this morning to big fat snowflakes out my window. But the sweet smell of stock and the delicate button mum made me feel a little bit warmer.
I am in the market for a camera. It seems to be a difficult process for me. But I am thinking a canon for sure. Really looking forward to having one though, because right now I just have my iphone.
