Winter is coming

I have been terribly neglectful to this blog and I apologize. Things are slowing down for the season and I really feel like I can breath for the first time in months. The weather is getting cold and blustery and I am starting to feel the hibernation bug bite.
This year has been a great one of growth for Foxglove Studio and myself as a designer. It is fun to see the little seed of a business grow each year. I have met some wonderful peers and mentors this year and am so grateful to have worked along side them. These experiences are enlightening and they always make me feel like I am not doing enough!
I am looking forward to seeing what comes next year. I would love to continue learning from the best as I have a lot left to learn. The idea of traveling for work is on the horizon and I hope that the new year brings more opportunities for that.  I am so excited for all of the weddings that we have next year and am fortunate to work with some amazing couples that make my job that much more wonderful.
I am also looking forward to my own wedding in May. Being able to marry my best friend in a place that is so special to us with all of our friends and family, doesn't get much better then that.

I hope that you all have an amazing Thanksgiving. It's time to reflect on the year and get ready for the new one. I, for one am ready to see what it brings.
