We had such a great time hosting two workshops at Lillstreet Art Center in April! What wonderful students and they created the most beautiful arrangements to take home and enjoy.

April Workshops and May Moves!

I can't believe it is already April. Someone once told me life is like a roll of toilet paper, once it starts rolling it goes faster and faster and faster. I mean, it's true!  Lot's of exciting things are happening for Foxglove in the next few months.

We are super excited to be moving into a new studio space on the 1st of May! Not only will we have a beautiful and inspiring new location on Hubbard,  but we will be doing it with some of our oldest and dearest (and incredibly talented) friends from INDO and Stephanie Bassos Photography. Can't wait to show you around. 

Also, we are super excited for the Lillstreet workshops that we are hosting. We still have a few spots in our Saturday creative retreat on April 19th. Enjoy the morning with flower arranging and the afternoon with ceramics. It's going to be a ton of fun and I can't wait to see what all of you design! The Wes Anderson Affect

This one is for all you brides and party planners out there.

We all know how visually stunning Wes Anderson movies are. Not only is the styling impeccably cool, but the colors and sets and even the stars in his shows are perfectly and beautifully weird.

It is no surprise that there have been brides and party goers that have wanted to capture the Wes look and I have found just the thing for you. Color palettes are the most powerful visual when designing flowers arrangements, tablescapes, clothing and the over all mood of any party. Well, now you can simply click a button and find that perfect combination, via Wes Anderson Palettes. 

I won't lie, I am probably going to reference this at some point this year when designing flower arrangements for one of you.

Lillstreet Art Center | Foxglove Studio

I am so honored to have been asked to teach two classes at Lillstreet Art Center this April! I love Lillstreet and can't wait to teach some practical and fun ways to arrange home flowers.

We are teaching two different classes and they are filling up fast, so if you are interested jump on it now!

1. April 19th - Wild at Heart | Spring Retreat
This Retreat is going to be so fun. In the morning we will be teaching how to bring flowers to your table       from the processing stage to the finished arrangement. Each student will make an arrangement that they         can take home. After the lunch break you will learn how to make a ceramic vessel in the ceramics portion taught by Shira Leon. Sounds like a pretty fantastic day to me!

2. April 26th - A Floral Workshop | 1-3pm
We have added another workshop the following weekend that will focus on arranging flowers for that perfect centerpiece. This is a shorter time, so for all of you busy bee's out there, this one is for you.

Space is limited and these workshops are almost sold out, so hurry and come have fun with flowers!

Jayne Weddings: Indie Wed

I fell in love instantly.

Katie Jayne from Jayne Weddings looked me up a few months ago about working with one of her brides and of course I said yes. We met and we instantly new that we both had the similar design style and aesthetic for weddings, parties and events.
So, a few weeks later she asked if I would be apart of her Indie Wed booth. I didn't even think twice. It has been so much fun getting to know Katie through this process and really being able to create what we both, as a collaboration, had hoped for visually. Along the way, I was also introduced to Janelle and her sweet company Re:find Joy. This girl has so many beautiful things to rent for events, dinner parties, weddings and more! I highly recommend you checking it out.

Camp Wandawega Weekend

Last summer Seth's band, Bare Mutants, was asked to play in Tom's Treehouse at Camp Wandawega (where we are getting married in a few short months!) Well, it turned into one of the best weekends I have had yet up there.
We were lucky enough to have the talented Eric Law record some video and this is what he came up with!

Thanks Camp Wandawega + Longman & Eagle for such a great few days. Sure am wishing it was sunny, warm and bright right about now!
